These online CRM applications are “rented” and simply works without any IT staff getting involved. This can be compared to utilities such as water and electricity. As long as you pay your bill, the electricity is always ready to be used whenever you require it. With the current online CRM solutions available functionality compares with the large on-premise CRM applications such as Siebel and SAP. Siebel is the recognised leader in CRM applications and after Oracle acquired Siebel Oracle consistently invests in developing the original Siebel on Demand product now known as Oracle CRM on Demand application that is a SaaS application initiated and based on the leading Siebel on Demand and Siebel Enterprise applications. Together with Salesforce.com they are the leading CRM SaaS applications. The best way for me to explain the breadth and depth of functionality available will be to highlight some of the Oracle CRM on Demand Release 15 features that is all-inclusive in the low price of only A$73 per month. The Salesforce.com Enterprise Edition equivalent compares and often provides less features compared to Oracle CRMoD and has a list price of A$180 per month.
